I have started working on a mobile version for this site. Check back for updates. The address will be posted on our mailing list and here once it is in a somewhat usable format. We would also appreciate feedback about how things look on your device. More info on that when we get closer to the final release.
Website update
So, I moved from the Drupal based website to a basic php/html site. The Drupal site was neat, had some cool features however my plans did not work out how I had wanted them to work out. So I am reverting to a traditional setup that should service us well.
Here are some of the things for the website that I will be working on in the coming days:
- Links. They are a bit difficult in places, I will be making them more visible
- Calendar. Trying out Google Calendar and Webcalendar both have their merits but tending towards Google
- Mailing list. We currently use Yahoo! groups. I would like to change that to our won. Currently the group on the communications page is active and available, but I am the only one on there.
- Getting all the pages up to snuff.
- I am always on the lookout for new content. If you have something send me an email (link to the right) and we can discuss your idea.
- Officer pages. There is a table (working on that) with all the current officers and a link to a page just for them. This needs to be fleshed out some more
- Logo, I am working on finding a pleasing HK logo for the header.
- watermark. Adjusting/resizing, and messing with the waterkark found on all the pages.
- Other stuff I am sure I will notice "soon"
