I should mention that while this is a real newsgroup, and you can subscribe it is not yet one that the populace uses. I am hoping to wean people from the Yahoo! group that has served us well in the past.
Once I get the calendar doing what I want (it actually texted me three times for items I had put on there (yay!)) and send out email and sms notifications I think I can make a good case for it.
